We initially gave them relatively small projects to see how they performed and they not only did not disappoint, they really went above and beyond. We gave Tenhulzen additional work as a result, and, even on very short notice with complicated work, they were able to surpass our expectations. Scott and his entire crew are very detail oriented and thorough, and the follow up on work was also prompt. Materials and methods used are top notch. I wish more businesses were like Tenhulzen, and we will gladly recommend and use them again.”

“Oh my God, Joe is Awesome !! So, not only does he show up as and when expected, but he takes great care in securing the area so as to not get paint where it should be. To me, the biggest issue with painting the interior of my home was color selection, I have coved ceilings, wainscoting, and lots of funky angles in my home. We went from "white" everywhere to Red, Green, Blue, Grey, Yellow and I think one other color. I walk into my house now, and just smile at all of the colors and everyone who has been over has remarked on how warm the house now feels. I would strongly recommend Joe to anyone not only for a superb job, but for helping me navigate the choice of colors.”

“I hired Paintzone back in May 2022 to create an accent wall using a high-gloss finish from Fine Paints of Europe, and the outcome was truly remarkable. Their team was professional from get-go, explaining the process throughly and respecting my space by keeping it tidy. They arrived on time and ensured that all furniture was properly covered to prevent damage. The prep work was on another level. I never imagined that painting can be treated like a science, and these guys made it look so easy, when it took 2 weeks to finish a high-gloss wall! The finished product surpassed all my expectations, the accent wall became the room's standout feature. Even a year on, the wall maintains its allure, showing no signs of wear or fading. In short, this painting company delivered an excellent service, they are the real definition of craftsmen. I would highly recommend them for any painting projects.”

“I ordered some custom wallpaper that came peel and stick, and larger than standard sized rolls. I got one sheet up, and realized I was in over my head and needed Help. Alex came the next day and worked a miracle on the wall, salvaging the sheet that I had ruined in a few places. He was professional and quick, and it looks absolutely amazing. Lesson learned to call a pro, and just buy regular wallpaper, not a giant sticker!”

“I would not hesitate to recommend this company. We were having problems with the paint on the back of our house fading and getting really dirty. Jon recommended better paint. They painted the house two summers ago and it still looks brand new. His crew was very respectful of our plants etc and the work was done efficiently and at a very fair price. I need to have some interior painting done and will hire this company again.”

“Kevin and his team did an amazing job, I can't over emphasize the professionalism of his team. We recently had new floors put in our lower level and had some major issues with our baseboards being destroyed from the renovation and our drywall peeling off the wall (from the bad initial installation of the baseboards). Kevin and his team worked to fix our walls (via spackle and texturizing), installed the new baseboards, and gave everything a clean coat of paint. His job included the renovation of our walls downstairs, installing new baseboards throughout downstairs, and painting our fireplace, the hallway stairs, two bedrooms and railings. He was very responsive, responded to any questions I had (big or small) and was patient as I was picking out the right paint color. I also appreciated that everything was covered properly and we didn't have any stray paint marks after they left. We are asking for an additional bid and will have him finish our entire house (inside and out).”

“16-years ago, Rich Mahan, owner of Val-Tech Painting and his crew took on the job of painting, staining, and maintaining our newly-built clear cedar shake home in Redmond. Rich and his team have maintained our property ever since. He is the finest painter I have ever worked with or hired in my life! Rich is an old-master at painting and staining. He is an expert on the science of both paint and stain, and it’s many varied applications. He and his crew show up on time, work hard, long days, and clean up like they were never there. Rich has the experience, knowledge, and talent that are hard to come by. You’ll not be disappointed. He will exceed your best expectations.”

“Bruce Shilling and his assistant did a wonderful job when they painted the exterior of my house in May 2015. The work was thorough, complete and very tidy. For instance they scraped the old paint off by hand rather than using water pressure. They also painted the house using paint brushes the entire time rather than spraying the paint on. They put on a prime coat and two coats of the actual colors/trim. They arrived on time each morning and worked the entire day only taking a break for lunch. They did not juggle jobs. Previously they painted the common living areas in the interior of my house (living/dining/kitchen and hallway) with two coats of paint. Tidy, thorough and totally trustworthy. Reasonably priced too!”
