“The Klein Design Group designed the cabinetry for our entertainment center/bookcase wall unit in our den and our kitchen cabinetry. Jonathan Kleid listened carefully as we outlined what we knew we needed and made very apt suggestions about possibilities that we had not initially recognized. The elegant, uncluttered designs in both rooms have stood the test of time. In the kitchen and den his choices of internal hardware and fittings for specialized drawers and cabinets have worked smoothly and have operated flawlessly for more than fifteen years. His collaboration with Swift Finishing gave us cabinetry whose paint finishing was perfect and silky smooth to the touch.
Jonathan was very responsive to our initial request to meet, enthusiastic about our projects, and a joy to work with throughout. He has followed up periodically to make sure that we knew help was available if any issues arise.”

They were very patient as I changed my mind multiple times on what kind of cabinets I wanted, the color scheme, etc. They made very useful suggestions on every idea I had, and the prices were very reasonable. Gliding Shelves did not do work for me, so I'm not sure if it's appropriate to comment on this forum. I'm sure someone will let me know if that's the case.”

“I hired Obie of Butterworth Designs to build two built-in pieces which I designed- a cubby wall unit for our guest room and a corner bench seat with pull out drawers for the master.
His estimate was 10% higher than I was budgeting for, but his level of communication and email response time was awesome and I liked his demeanor and professionalism more than the other builders that I got quotes from- so that sealed the deal.
Obie built everything faster than expected with no compromise to quality. Our house was built in 1915 and many of the walls aren't plumb which makes installing builtins a bit tricky. Obie worked tirelessly on the install and came back an additional day to make sure it was done right.
I'm so happy with our builtins and the work Butterworth Designs did- will definitely hire Obie again for future projects!”
