“Harts Woodworking designed, manufactured and installed our stunning kitchen. Andy immediately understood what we wanted and produced detailed drawings and costings. Andy and his team were incredibly easy to work with. They came on site at a time convenient to us and talked through every aspect of the works. No one was ever late for an appointment with us. Our budget was kept to. In order to try and keep a handle on costs, we ordered our appliances over the Internet. Harts were very accommodating and took delivery of all of the appliances at their workshops and then brought them on to site at the right stage of the works. During the installation our home was kept as clean and tidy as possible in the midst of installing a new kitchen! A real pride was taken in the work. The kitchen was left clean at the end of each day and no mess was made elsewhere in the house. The quality of finish is excellent. Almost 3 years on and there have been no issues with the kitchen at all. Save for my leaning on the bin drawer too heavily. And Andy came and sorted that out very quickly. Since then Harts have also designed and built 2 large built in oak book cases and a utility cupboard for us, all to the same high standard.”

“The console table that Matt made for us is simply exquisite. After a couple of conversations on the phone he came up with 4 beautifully drawn designs, all unique. We wanted walnut and Matt suggested veneered walnut so we go a fantastic grain. Such good advice. For a bespoke piece of furniture this was the same cost as buying a mass produced piece from Oka or Neptune. I can't recommend Matt highly enough.”

The whole project was managed from beginning to end by Rob Caldicott of Bespoke in the Cotswolds- which included expanding the kitchen to double its size. Rob’s cabinetry and carpentry is of the highest standard and the quality of the finish is second to none. Our house is a converted barn so there are a lot of challenging issues to overcome: uneven stone walls and floors, no external pipe work. Rob’s scribing to the stone walls makes the whole kitchen appear seamless. The other services recruited by Rob-electrician, plumber, builder - all worked to his equally high standard.
