“We had Simon work with us on creating a custom barn board wall with built in cabinets, fireplace and floating shelves. Simon is very knowledgeable and professional. He worked within our budget and presented a digital image of the project and worked with us through many details over a few weeks. We had a few hiccups with the installation that prolonged the project over the expected timeline; however, we would rather have it take longer and get it done right than have it rushed and not completed to our satisfaction. Simon was always available throughout the whole process to address any of our concerns and ensured us that our satisfaction was a priority for him as well. The unit looks fantastic! We are very happy with it. We would have given a 4.5 stars but this site doesn't allow 0.5 stars. “I usually NEVER comment on trades peoples work, if they did a substandard job. I usually know how to do the work myself but am too old to physically do it. I am picky and demand almost perfection. For the 3rd time I have used UN Cabinetry but this time on a larger scale. Previously UN Cabinetry built me 2 single cabinets custom made and was I happy with the outcome. The kitchen project that was just completed was huge and we used UN Cabinetry to complete the Kitchen cabinets as we were happy with their previous cabinetry work. From the very start we were so very impressed with the knowledge,patience and expertise of Karyn at the Pickering showroom. We had our own ideas and Karyn would advise us as to whether they were good ideas or not and often referred to her own kitchen layout as to whether certain cabinets were great to have or not. We sincerely appreciated her common sense input. Sometimes these so called cute cabinet ideas are not functional or logical and Karyn was there to guide us appropriately. We had another Kitchen cabinetry group give us a price on same layout and they were less expensive than UN Cabinetry but we were so impressed with Karyn we immediately made the decision to contract UN Cabinetry for our kitchen project. The different teams that came in to complete this project were very professional and were always aware of not marking other walls or belongings. I accidentally marked and end piece of a cabinet when attempting to install an electrical plug in. UN Cabinetry took this damaged piece out and took it back to their business and resprayed it then reinstalled it at no charge. Can You Believe This!!!! It was totally my fault. We are so impressed with the quality of work that UN Cabinetry provides that we wanted others to know they could hire this company and not be worried as to the integrity and professionalism that they offer.”
