“When a friend of ours recommended someone she knew to paint a mural on our dining room ceiling, I had no idea a true artist was about to arrive! We wanted a skyscape mostly of clouds and some local birds flying that we were inspired to recreate after visiting a grand estate in Newport, RI! No small feat for sure! Mary Jane impressed us right from the start. The consultation period which consisted of listening to our ideas and then presenting many of her own, lead to a totally collaborative experience. I learned about paint techniques, about perspective and the curing process. We feel that together we created our own masterpiece! Whether you want to be that involved in the process or just need to hand it over to a professional, Mary Jane will create that one of a kind project you will treasure always! If you want quality, craftsmanship and artistry, then you want Plain Jane!”

To be honest I was a bit nervous before we started to do the design progress together. I was afraid things wouldn't turn out to be like I was imagining in my head and afraid I was going to get frustrated. In reality, it turned out to be the best experience ever!
