“In the spring of 2012 we met with a few different deck building companies and discussed our ideas for our backyard. We asked each one of them to come back to us combining their expertise with what we had discussed with the balance of the plans we had for our yard. Hickory Dickory had totally paid attention to all of the details we had mentioned and came to us with a couple of designs. We were very impressed with the way each meeting was handled. Making changes and tweaking the drawings were never a problem and everything fell into place. There were no surprises everything was done exactly as planned and agreed upon. We made a few last minute changes without any issues. They have a great team of people that work together and do quality work. You can tell they love what they do and have pride in their work. We highly recommend them. We have had some friends build decks with them now and they also have had nothing but good things to say.”

“We have hired Derek @ Dat Construction several times to build us a new deck, as well as fencing, and beautiful privacy screens. Derek is an exceptional business owner, he is open, honest and delivers what he says he is going to do. His prices are very reasonable considering his high level of attention to detail. We have unfortunately made errors in judgment in hiring trades to help us in our projects outside, someone referred us to Derek, and that is one of the best things that ever happened. We are what I would say fairly "discerning" clients (read..picky, probably a pain in the butt), Derek always meets and/or exceeds our expectations. Last year he built a deck for us ( the 2nd one, he did one in our last house as well), we live in a new development, he also completed a new fence for us. When the neighbour's saw his work they all asked him to complete their fences as well. So now when I look out my back windows I see a small enclave of ten new homes...all with Dat Construction fences :) you will not be sorry in hiring Derek and team for any project, big or small.”
