Modern vs traditional kitchen design: Which one would you choose?

When deciding on a style of design for your kitchen space there are two obvious choices to make. Modern or Traditional. Which one do you prefer?

    Hello Stoneham,

    Yes I firmly believe in curating a dramatic space that blends a lot of aspects and people shouldn't shy away from creating unique spaces that are more than just the idea of one or the other.. : ))

      A traditional kitchen gives you that warm, snug homely feel that personally I like best

      Hello Stoneham Kitchens,

      The style of kitchen should be entirely determined by the architecture of the space it's in and if it dictates a certain preference (it doesn't always have to be traditional with traditional and visa versa) and then the aesthetic preference.. I love Modern and Traditional.. Spectacular as much as functional... Textural, interesting and fabulous.. You can mix both modern and traditional elements beautifully too to create something unique.. For me all these 3 are warm and inviting.. : ))

      Mixing traditional and modern design in accordance to the space that you are working with is a great idea. Why have one style when you can have two!

      Traditional Kitchens give a nice, homely feel. The look can be timeless too, a good example of this would be our Tesi range of column radiators.

      It seems as though traditional kitchen design connotes a feeling of warmth and homeliness for many people and understandably so!

      A combination of the two is always the way to go to fit a custom style for anyone.

      Mixing the two styles allows you to inject personality and individuality into the kitchen space creating a look that is different.
