What height to hang curtains?

I can't decide where I should hang the curtains on this window. Suggestions on either above the top row if windows or in the middle of the two rows if windows!

In between the two rows if windows?

    I was going to say in the middle and leave the top row of windows uncovered, but I noticed that your beautiful cabinetry is taller than that. In that case, I think taller drapes might look better. Are they going to be closable or panels that hang only on the sides? Are you planning to keep the shades down below? If the lower windows have shades or blinds, I think full floor to ceiling panels on each side would be gorgeous. Pretty room and windows!

      I had similar windows in one of my houses and I had stained glass inserts in the upper windows. I hung the draperies between the upper and lower windows. I had west-facing windows and the afternoon sun coming in through the stained glass added a secondary layer of coloration to the decor.

      Must do above the top windows to create and accentuate the height of the architecture. Also, agree that you do not want them to cut below the height of the cabinetry

      I suggest hanging the curtains from ceiling to floor.

      Agree with above, floor to ceiling, 4 separate panels. And don't do one width of fabric--you need 1.5 widths minimum, or they will look like ribbons hanging there. :)

      The full length draperies are best suited for this type of window setting- several options for how to complete the project. Two panels?Four panels? Top treatments as well ?...it is easier to decide when a rendering is done- we do offer virtual design services and computerized renderings if you would like some help deciding- best of luck!

      From the ceiling and be sure your rod extends about 10" longer than the width of your windows on each side.
