Suggestions for living room paint color

I really need help with living room color. The existing paint came with the house, and I think it's time for something different. The color is Creamery by Sherwin Williams and it looks too orangey, peachy especially with all the brown furniture I've got. I'm looking for color that will lighten up my place, make it more modern looking. I am also planning to hang a wallpaper on the wall behind TV. My dining room is next to the living room and is painted in edgecomb by Benjamin Moore. Please help!!!

Commentaires (6)Good evening, please make a selection of what can remain or not, the wooden floors seems to be ok already, make a selection of tendency you like, modern, classic, chic or completely different. Commentaires (0)This is the wall of my living room leading up to the stairs. We would like to paint a wall - hubby thinks wall with painting and chimney which protrudes from the wall. I'm inclined to think the back wall on either side of the chimney (more work). What do you think - we do have high ceilings... Now the second problem is the staircase...we will varnish the stairs the same colour as the parquet BUT...the banisters and upright were painted white at some point partially sanded and now look strange. I want to paint them because there is a lot of crevices and I think it will be too much work to sand it all done. We are leaning towards a darker colour - in the picture it looks black but in fact it's a a dark shade of blue. I was also thinking of F&Bs "Black Blue". I would like any and all suggestions on where to paint and colour ideas. Thanks so much!... Voir plusColours - which & where!?

Commentaires (84)bonjour, ils sont très bien les rideaux que vous avez trouvé, le bleu est bien clair et dans les tons pastels que nous utilisions beaucoup en Scandinavie. Le bleu assortie pour le coussin est parfait. Si vous souhaitez vous rapprocher du style Scandinave il faut choisir entre rideaux et voilage comme on ne mets jamais le deux, beaucoup trop lourd pour nous intérieurs ou on essaye toujours garder une luminosité maximale. En Tunisie vous avez le problème contraire donc il faudra s'adapter et trouver une équilibre entre le style Scandinave et vous besoins. Si vous souhaitez avoir une voilage je conseillerai vivement un blanc uni, sans rayure! votre tableau bleu et jaune sera très bien avec l'ensemble, il est très beau!... Voir plusUser
