Understated range hood
L shaped bench nook!
Cooktop: has built in hood/ vent that I really like (blends w cabinets). I'm also interested in idea of narrow cabinets resting on counter on either side of cooktop. I really like this look, how it makes the cooktop/ hood area look like chimney. But would it be annoying/ restrict movement? Note: also love drawers below cooktop, and to left/ right
