peaked roof design - helps to visualize what our west wall might look like.
These are like my parents' windows on Spellman - stationary at the top and sliders on the bottom. I don't think I really like them.

Vance's suggestion: window at lower right of photo with fixed arch portion and movable lower section
Not crazy about the look but the large panes may be a structural enhancement in case of heavy winds....need help on this!
Simple lines - really like this effect
hmmm .... may need to divide large windows like this so only the top half opens or the bottom or both but independently
lower windows have nice arched tops but I'm not crazy about the mullions - too many panes, too fussy
