deck
would really like the pergola section of deck to feel like an outdoor room. Like the idea of an outdoor rug and pergola to have fx shade with lighting or fan on ceiling, curtains tied back that can be shut. "sofa" like setting with a small fireplace and TV above. Do not want steps to be in this pergola area. would like them to be off somewhere by the "bridge area". On the existing side of the deck which we are going to replace we would like to try and see as much as the yard as possible so lower railings or benches. Also heard they have a built in storage area that is built in the deck. would be nice to have this for the seat cushions. as far as fireplace and built in grill area not sure what material to do tihs with bc the chimney is brick and we don't want to have to resurface the chimney.
