JB ArchitectePour compléter leur maison, cette famille a souhaité agrandir son extérieur en créant un sauna sur pilotis avec vue sur le Fjord. Le projet en bois présente un design discret, élégant, qui se fond parfaitement dans le décor, permettant de compléter la maison traditionnelle bois existante avec harmonie. La grande baie vitrée à l'ouest permet de profiter du coucher du soleil pendant l'utilisation du sauna. L'emplacement de l'extension ne fait pas obstruction à la vue et à l'exposition de la belle terrasse adjacente. La particularité de ce projet ? La structure en pilotis encrée dans la falaise, permettant d'offrir un volume en bois en immersion dans la végétation, pour un effet "cabane moderne".

Secret GardensSecret Gardens has been developing this stunning harbourside garden over a number of years. A simple layout at water level provides a subtle foreground to the harbour view beyond. Simple, modern plant combinations draw from a simple but consistent colour palette. The main courtyard space is the highlight . A five metre high green wall and water wall provide the backdrop to a large banquet seat. The built in bbq, retractable ceiling, customised firepit and coffee table provide options for year round entertainment. Extensive soundproofing was incorporated into the boundary wall as well as behind the green wall to absorb noise from a neighbouring property.

FLORAISONSSur ce projet, il nous a paru évident d'installer le coin potager près des coins repas. La zone la plus exploitable devenait donc celle devant les claustras, puisqu'elle relie l'espace petit déjeuner et l'espace repas sous la pergola.
Cette zone peu étroite nous a poussé a imaginer un potager vertical, accompagné de différentes séries de jardinières et poteries.
