It doesn’t require much water, is quick to propagate, and is well suited for this region’s climate. It is perfect for green roofs. Our client had been growing sedum in his yard, but the deer love to chomp on it. We harvested his sedum and used it to create our green roof — the deer were not pleased, but we were.

Сад трав - справа от шаговой дорожки становится яким цветным акцентом в ландшафтном дизайне сада осенью. На переднем плане и цветника, и сада трав - МОЛИНИЯ голубая и МОЛИНИЯ голубая "Variegata".
Особенно ярко в ландшафтном дизайне сада выглядит темная зелень СОСНЫ обыкновенной "Watereri".

Nordland Landscapeshis formal garden was designed to resemble the lines of a cello.
The large lawn is edged in a reclaimed yellow stock brick and laid on edge in a sweeping curve and surrounded by traditional planting and large trees.
To split the garden into two, we used trellis to screen the children’s play area at the rear of the garden from the rest of the outdoor space. The trellis gives a degree of privacy but also allows the children to be visible whilst playing in the rear play area. The play frame was designed and built by Nordland Landscapes based on a wish list from the client’s children.
The brief was to include overhead monkey bars, high enough to be challenging but not high enough to be dangerous, a slide, trapeze bars set far enough apart so as to be able to do tumble turns on and cater for the varying heights of the three children. The client also requested a den or play house to hang out in and play in all-year-round.

Our studio composed a landscape with an improved entry sequence, balancing the need for personal privacy alongside a distinctive public face. A courtyard oasis with a new deck is enclosed by warm wooden fencing set on top of the contrasting raw texture of a gabion retaining wall that acts as a backdrop to bold streetscape plantings.

Robert Kutner ArchitectUpon completion of a successful Master Suite and Home Office addition with Kutner Architect Builder Remodeler, the clients requested a major outdoor living space with a kitchen, patio area to entertain and a full court basketball sport court for the growing family of athletes. The rear yard was a steep slope and had to be terraced to accomplish the design of a viewing area above the sport court with a retaining wall made of Hanover Architectural Products, Chapel Wall, creating the focal point with a fire pit, surrounding bench and stainless steel outdoor grill.

Native Edge LandscapeCustomer wanted to ditch their grass yard in favor of colorful native plants that would create a charming scene for friends and neighbors alike. They dreamed of a gathering space in their front yard that looked out over their native plantings, so we added a seating area with cafe lights and raised steel planters so that the plantings could be enjoyed while seated. Black star gravel was added for furniture and plant contrast, making them pop against the home and landscaping.
