Studio WherDecoCe bébé à venir, nous l'avons appelé Gauthier. Mais ses parents ne sont pas encore décidé sur le choix du prénom ;-). En tous cas, ils voulaient préparer au mieux son arrivée sur le thème de la nature et des animaux. La chambre de Gauthier sera l'ancienne chambre de leur grande sœur, pour laquelle nous avons également aménage un nouvel espace à l'étage supérieur sous les comble. WherDeco leur a proposé un zoning (plan 2D) pour disposer les différents mobiliers et éléments de décoration dans la pièce, puis une une shopping list avec tous les éléments à acheter pour créer ce petit cocon douceur.
Roots of NVCustom- made Nursery for under $1000 is possible!!! I spelt many sleepless nights overthinking the design concept and lout for my first born's nursery. I have always loved designing children's rooms and nurseries and now it was finally my turn and I had all the freedom I wanted to design it, minus the big belly getting in the way and a tighter budget!
Although we knew what we were having ( I don't know a designer who wouldn't want to know the sex!) I wanted to keep the room very neutral, and definitely no pink! The inspiration of this room was delivered obviously from over pinteresting countless nursery rooms, and I was always gravitating towards soft neutrals and subdle hints of colour. So I began my design layout and search for all the furniture and décor I needed.... Let me tell you it was not EASY! We didn't have a lot to spend on the nursery and given my taste, everything I came close to liking enough was from restoration hardware or pottery barn..... SOOO I decided to UPCYLCE and it turned out perfectly! Even better than I imagined!!! All the furniture minus the rocking chair was given to us for free and so I antiqued it all using chalk paint and distressed it. The rocker was not origionally a rocking chair, the chair is from IKEA and we went out and took off a swivel rocking base off an old ugly rocker and built it onto the bottom of the IKEA chair! (

Post Prentis DesignUsing two kinds of wall stickers I transformed this bedroom from a plane white walled upstairs office, in to a fun and gender neutral nursery. With a small budget, I decided to decorate using wall stickers, which was cheaper alternative, but achieved the same effect. Also, the stickers can be easily moved to accommodate the pictures adorning the walls.
The blue and white cupboard on the left, was purchased from Facebook marketplace for £100 and the chest of drawers belonged to the client already, but was repainted to suit the room.
The pictures are a combination of prints, all framed by a brilliant local framer based in W10 called John White Framing.

Kim Tasker Interiors LtdLeopold's parents wanted to create a bright jungle inspired space for him to sleep and play. We painted the lower half of the room green complete with mountain peaks, the upper half off white creating an illusion of a higher ceiling and a neutral backdrop to a bold jungle mural. As well as specifying furniture and accessories to work with items already owned by the client, I also created a space plan that can be adapted easily as Leopold grows!
