Créateurs d'IntérieurLa cuisine a été réalisée sur mesure avec des portes sans poignées, en laque satinée blanche et grise. Un bandeau de leds incrusté dans le meuble souligne le volume de l’ensemble et crée un éclairage indirect. Le plan de travail est en marbre de carrare. La cuve en inox est collée sous le plan afin de la rendre plus discrète.

This modern/transitional kitchen was designed to meld comfortably with a 1910 home. This photo highlights the lovely custom-designed and built cabinets by Draper DBS that feature a gray pearl finish that brings an understated elegance to the semblance of a "white kitchen". White calcutta marble tops and backsplashes add to the clean feel and flow of the space. Also featured is a custom designed and manufactured stainless steel range hood by Rangecraft. Hamilton Snowber ArchitectsDavid Reeve Architectural Photography; The Village of Chevy Chase is an eclectic mix of early-20th century homes, set within a heavily-treed romantic landscape. The Zantzinger Residence reflects the spirit of the period: it is a center-hall dwelling, but not quite symmetrical, and is covered with large-scale siding and heavy roof overhangs. The delicately-columned front porch sports a Chippendale railing.
The family needed to update the home to meet its needs: new gathering spaces, an enlarged kitchen, and a Master Bedroom suite. The solution includes a two story addition to one side, balancing an existing addition on the other. To the rear, a new one story addition with one continuous roof shelters an outdoor porch and the kitchen.
The kitchen itself is wrapped in glass on three sides, and is centered upon a counter-height table, used for both food preparation and eating. For daily living and entertaining, it has become an important center to the house.

CBI Design Professionals, Inc.The original Kitchen in this home was extremely cluttered and disorganized. In the process of renovating the entire home this space was a major priority to address. We chose to create a central barrel vault that structured the entire space. The French range is centered on the barrel vault. By adding a table to the center of the room it insures this is a family centered environment. The table becomes a working space, an eating space, a homework table, etc. This is a throwback to the original farm house kitchen table that was the center of mid-western life for generations. The room opens up to a Living Room and Music Room area that make the space incorporated with all of the family’s daily activity. The space also has mirror-imaged doors that open to the exterior patio and pool deck area. This effectively allows for the circulation of the family from the pool deck to the interior as if it was another room in the house. The contrast of the original disorganization and clutter to the cleanly detailed, highly organized space is a huge transformation for this home.

Smith & Vansant Architects PCThis kitchen was formerly a dark paneled, cluttered, divided space with little natural light. By eliminating partitions and creating a more functional, open floorplan, as well as adding modern windows with traditional detailing, providing lovingly detailed built-ins for the clients extensive collection of beautiful dishes, and lightening up the color palette we were able to create a rather miraculous transformation. The wide plank salvaged pine floors, the antique french dining table, as well as the Galbraith & Paul drum pendant and the salvaged antique glass monopoint track pendants all help to provide a warmth to the crisp detailing.
