Audry Cordero, NKBA at Design Studio WestThis contemporary kitchen is clean and functional, filled with state of the art appliances and luxury materials. We chose a rich rift cut white oak cabinet door with custom glazing and a wirebrushed texture for the majority of the kitchen. To create more depth we used grey painted cabinets for the tall pantry area. For the upper wall cabinets next to the sink, glass and metal frame doors were selected. The glass is frosted on the fronts and painted grey on the back for a very soft yet sophisticated feel. The stainless steel Dacor Modernist refrigerator is quite a statement on its own, and it integrated more of the desired metal element. Caeserstone countertops in marble-look Calacatta Nuvo were used to brighten up the space. The smoked oak wood bar top is a bold statement as it cantilevers out from the island. A Freedom Gaggenau cooktop and downdraft keep the island clean and ready for entertaining.
By DesignThe interior of this newly constructed home, with panoramic views of the adjacent creek, required a mix of exquisite detail and simple design solutions to capture the contemporary design of the the exterior of the home. The rectangular kitchen flows seamlessly from the soaring great room. The center of the functional cabinetry wall features a concrete overlay niche that houses the fully integrated refrigerator and the microwave behind a lift up door. No wall cabinets distract from the beautiful view that is framed by a series of matching casement windows. Glassware and dishes are housed in the tall cabinet adjacent to the appliance niche and in the base cabinet next to the dishwasher. Specialized dish storage roll-outs make unpacking the dishwasher a breeze. The concrete floors with polished aggregate highlights pay homage to the creek visible through the sweeping windows. The seamless waterfall edge treatment for the island and raised counter casual eating area add a touch of elegance to the space.
UserAccenting the space with glass cabinetry with interior lighting creates a more personal addition to the space. An area for heirlooms and antiques, this wall gives the home owner the freedom to showcase personal items they love.
Design Studio WestThe parameters were simple, “Keep it clean and contemporary, and we want to keep the existing floor.”
Inspiration: Create a space that is not only beautiful, but state-of-the-art with top notch appliances, plenty of storage, and bold modern finishes.

L/L Design - Build - FurnishThis kitchen received a major transformation in order to meet the clients needs of matching the kitchen with other rooms within the home. The dark wood matched the furniture in the living room, so we decided to continue with that color scheme throughout the project. Brushed nickel appliances and embellishments complimented the dark wood in a contemporary way, while the counter tops displayed a sense of elegancy.

Meyer DesignThis dinette is open to the kitchen and great room. From the breakfast bar you can see the towering trusses and wood ceiling in the great room, along with the fireplace setting and stone wall. The windows give a panoramic view of the back yard and deck. Stunning!

The new homeowners wanted a butler’s pantry and built in Thermador espresso machine for their new space. The peninsula offers seating for guests as they cook. The project includes a 54 inch stainless steel vent hood complete with backsplash and shelving.
