ALTS DESIGN OFFICE (アルツ デザイン オフィス)住み継いだ家
本計画は、築32年の古家のリノベーションの計画です。
昔ながらの住宅のため、脱衣室がなく、田の字型に区切られた住宅でした。
1F部分は、スケルトン状態とし、水廻りの大きな改修を行いました。
既存の和室部を改修し、キッチンスペースにリノベーションしました。
キッチンは壁掛けとし、アイランドカウンターを設け趣味である料理などを楽しめるスペースとしました。
洋室だった部分をリビングスペースに変更し、LDKの一体となったスペースを確保しました。
リビングスペースは、6畳のスペースだったため、造作でベンチを設けて狭さを解消しました。
もともとダイニングであったスペースの一角には、寝室スペースを設け
ほとんどの生活スペースを1Fで完結できる間取りとしました。
また、猫との生活も想定されていましたので、ペットの性格にも配慮した計画としました。
内部のデザインは、合板やアイアン、アンティークな床タイルなどを仕様し、新しさの中にもなつかしさのある落ち着いた空間となっています。
断熱材から改修された空間は、機能性もデザイン性にも配慮された、居心地の良い空間となっています。
Plain & PoshThese homeowners were ready to update the home they had built when their girls were young. This was not a full gut remodel. The perimeter cabinetry mostly stayed but got new doors and height added at the top. The island and tall wood stained cabinet to the left of the sink are new and custom built and I hand-drew the design of the new range hood. The beautiful reeded detail came from our idea to add this special element to the new island and cabinetry. Bringing it over to the hood just tied everything together. We were so in love with this stunning Quartzite we chose for the countertops we wanted to feature it further in a custom apron-front sink. We were in love with the look of Zellige tile and it seemed like the perfect space to use it in.
Mon Concept HabitationLe défi de la rénovation de ce petit deux pièces était de créer un appartement fonctionnel, en ayant l’illusion d’avoir poussé les murs ! La salle de bain a été déplacée dans la grande chambre pour libérer de l’espace dans l’entrée et créer de nouveaux rangements. Nous avons supprimé la cloison entre l’entrée et le séjour pour apporter une impression de grandeur et ouvrir l’espace. D’autres rangements astucieux ont pris place dans la cuisine et la chambre.
Le fil conducteur de cette rénovation est l’association des tons jaune doré et rose. On les retrouve notamment dans la décoration du séjour et dans le choix des matériaux des autres pièces. Un papier peint aux reflets dorés avec un dressing sur mesure rose pastel dans la chambre et dans la salle de bain, la robinetterie en laiton brossé est associée avec un meuble vasque rose poudré et un carrelage en écailles.
Un résultat féminin et féérique qu’on adore !

This very compact home uses passive green building techniques. It is also wheelchair accessible and includes a elevator. We included an area to hang hats and jackets when coming in from the garage. BiLDENThe back wall of the kitchen hides a large walk-in pantry complete with a prep sink and beverage center. The appliances are panelled where possible to reduce the amount of stainless steel in the space. Appliance garages with retracting doors to the left and right of the range hide frequently used items.
Michelle Yorke Interior Design LLCA beautiful and spacious kitchen that emanates warmth and whim. The stunning view of the outdoor woods adds a subtle pop of green, while the interior shows off an elegant color palette of neutrals. Classic white shaker cabinets pair beautifully with the thunderstorm gray kitchen island and bar stools as well as the lustrous herringbone backsplash. Natural wooden floors complete the look, as the rich organic hues add a timeless charm that fits perfectly in a Pacific Northwest home.
