Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs, Inc.This was a full gut an renovation. The existing kitchen had very dated cabinets and didn't function well for the clients. A previous desk area was turned into hidden cabinetry to house the microwave and larger appliances and to keep the countertops clutter free. The original pendants were about 4" wide and were inappropriate for the large island. They were replaced with larger, brighter and more sophisticated pendants. The use of panel ready appliances with large matte black hardware made gave this a clean and sophisticated look. Mosaic tile was installed from the countertop to the ceiling and wall sconces were installed over the kitchen window. A different tile was used in the bar area which has a beverage refrigerator and an ice machine and floating shelves. The cabinetry in this area also includes a pullout drawer for dog food.

Kitchen Studio MontereyThis paradise in the pines needed a total refresh with new flooring, doors and windows throughout. Wolf appliances are surrounded by soft teal "Carolina Gull" custom color cabinets in the kitchen by Urban Effects Cabinetry in their Foxfire door style. The Blanco Ikon apron front sink in Cinder is complemented by a Newport Brass Vespera faucet. Caesarstone engineered quartz counters in "Georgian Bluffs" on the perimeter and portion of the island. The rest of the island and overhang features Ash wood by Grothouse Lumber out of Germansville PA. Homestyle Select DecorKitchen was designed with a bit of glam with lots of curves and textures and antiqued finishes on the cabinets. When adding a light for the island, a New Orleans inspired weathered fixture complemented the finishes beautifully. Bar stools upholstered with a fabric that contains all the colors in the backsplash producing a cohesive look in the space.

White Birch Design, LLCThis 1970's home had a complete makeover! The goal of the project was to 1) open up the main floor living and gathering spaces and 2) create a more beautiful and functional kitchen. We took out the dividing wall between the front living room and the kitchen and dining room to create one large gathering space, perfect for a young family and for entertaining friends!
Onto the exciting part - the kitchen! The existing kitchen was U-Shaped with not much room to have more than 1 person working at a time. We kept the appliances in the same locations, but really expanded the amount of workspace and cabinet storage by taking out the peninsula and adding a large island. The cabinetry, from Holiday Kitchens, is a blue-gray color on the lowers and classic white on the uppers. The countertops are walnut butcherblock on the perimeter and a marble looking quartz on the island. The backsplash, one of our favorites, is a diamond shaped mosaic in a rhombus pattern, which adds just the right amount of texture without overpowering all the gorgeous details of the cabinets and countertops. The hardware is a champagne bronze - one thing we love to do is mix and match our metals! The faucet is from Kohler and is in Matte Black, the sink is from Blanco and is white. The flooring is a luxury vinyl plank with a warm wood tone - which helps bring all the elements of the kitchen together we think!
Overall - this is one of our favorite kitchens to date - so many beautiful details on their own, but put together create this gorgeous kitchen!

With it's burnt orange flooring, blue/gray and white cabinets, it has become a favorite at first sight.
Welter & Welter GmbHBei dieser Küche gelten die selben Grundsätze wie in der Werkstatt: Stauraum für sein Werkzeug, kurze Laufwege, Platz zum Arbeiten und zu guter letzt ist natürlich eine sinnvolle Anordnung der Geräte sehr wichtig. So macht es zum Beispiel Sinn den Geschirrspüler neben die Spüle zu setzen, zum einen wegen der Anschlüsse, zum andern aber auch um dreckiges Geschirr direkt aus der Spüle in den Geschirrspüler einräumen zu können. Auf Hängeschränke wurde verzichtet, dafür planten wir einen bereits vorhandenen Buffetschrank mit ein. Dadurch bleibt der Raum optisch größer ohne Einbußen machen zu müßen.
