Urban SkiesOur latest projects focus on this bespoke pergola that includes a free-standing aluminium frame, rotating waterproof louvred roof and decorative timber cladding.
The louvres are waterproof when shut then are automated at the push of a button to rotate to open and allow sunlight through.
The louvred roof also features IP65-rated LED lighting whilst the pergola sits with a composite decking below.

A l'entrée du jardin, un pavage Vanilla a été installé, ainsi qu'une terrasse en Chêne cuivré.
Pour clôturer l'ensemble, une clôture a été installée.
Puis une pergola sur mesure a été posée avec une porte de garage.
Amber Freda Garden DesignCheck out the spectacular views on this Brooklyn rooftop garden! Our design included a total makeover of a previously barren space, including replacing the dingy looking concrete pavers with ipe wood deck tiles. We also designed a custom L-shaped ipe bench with seats that lift up for storage and planters filled with soft grasses built into the back of the bench. The lush looking plantings in this garden are in a mix of ipe and fiberglass pots and include Tardiva hydrangeas, white multi-stem birch trees, Mexican feather grasses, boxwoods, angelonia, purple coneflower, and a weeping redbud tree. The planters are illuminated with LED low-voltage up-lights for a dramatic nighttime effect.
Ocean Road LandscapingThis landscape garden won the 2014 Landscape Victoria Awards for “Plants In the Landscape”. With its natural Stingy Bark twisted trees, the design highlights and enhances these beautiful sculptural trees. The plants are the landscape, attracting wildlife and frogs, with evidence of children climbing and playing in this space. The use of north facing sun has been harnessed in the court yard close to the house, offering a completely different micro-climate, and protection from the southerly breeze.
This landscape garden was in the Open Gardens Australia for a special twilight event in January 2014 & 2015. With features such as decking, stonewalls and plantings that are drought hardy and indigenous. Monies raised from these garden openings were donated to the Anglesea CFA.

“WOW! This is an exceptional garden. The plants in this garden are the landscape. The existing trees have been made features in the overall landscape, and new plantings have been done to compliment and further highlight the existing trees.
The use of native plants in a structured manner has worked really well, and the retention of an undisturbed strip of indigenous vegetation has been sensitively incorporated into the landscape.
It was also great to see that this was a space that was explored and utilised by the whole family.”

Jesse York, Landscape DesignerNestled on a challenging steep, rocky incline with breathtaking ocean vistas, this backyard was initially nearly unusable due to its limited flat areas. The homeowner's vision was to transform it into a multifunctional space capable of hosting large gatherings of family and friends. The transformative design boasts four terraced decks: two featuring cozy fire pits, one equipped with a hot tub perfectly positioned for sunset viewing, and another for daytime relaxation, alongside a hidden deck designed especially for children's play. The space is further enhanced with an outdoor kitchen, a cascading water feature adorning the slope, seating nestled under a waterproof deck, and built-in wooden seating with cleverly integrated storage, all centered around a playful and inviting pool.

Giardinello Landscape & Design, LLCThis Custom Outdoor Kitchen reflects a collaboration with some pretty wonderful clients. The Giardinello Team created a custom split face Scabos Travertine Backsplash, added Ledgestone facing and fabricated gorgeous, Limestone counters. Additionally we installed Scabos Travertine Pavers to create a beautiful new, enlarged entertaining space. A previous Olive Tree and awkward mounding were removed along with an outdated bbq surround.The space was just waiting to be opened up and leveled off. And now, look at that view!!! Hardwall Outdoor LivingThis property has a private man made lake with an island. The customer wanted a bridge built so they could get their tractor to maintain it. The plan was to put in a firepit on this small island. The bridge beams were manufactured to withstand a moving weight of 1800lbs at any given point along the bridge. The bridge was designed in an arch shape so the customer could paddle his home built boats around the island and not have to stop at the bridge and go back. The bridge decking is made up of custom cut rough cut 3" x 4" lumber to avoid slippage. There was no rail installed as per customers request.
