« Mon parti pris a été de prendre en compte l’existant et de le magnifier, raconte Florence. Je mets toujours un point d’honneur à m’inscrire dans l’histoire du lieu en travaillant avec des matériaux authentiques, quelles que soient la nature et la taille du projet. » Aujourd’hui, l’ancien petit salon et sa cuisine attenante ont été réunis en une seule pièce, privilégiant ainsi la convivialité et l’esthétisme.
Florence a conceptualisé la cuisine avec deux plans de travail dont un îlot XXL qui dissimule de grands tiroirs de rangement, ainsi qu’une table de cuisson. Attenant à la cuisine, un escalier..Voici une pièce à vivre en deux parties. La cuisine (Record è Cucine),
réalisée en Fenix (panneau en stratifié) et bois brut, se distingue de la salle à manger par un jeu de couleurs en clair-obscur, inspiré par la végétation environnante. La décoration éclectique associe d’anciennes lampes à pétrole provenant d’un
paquebot indien à des créations actuelles. Plan de travail en granit du Zimbabwe et en acier brossé sur l’îlot central. Peinture « Inchyra Blue » (vert foncé) et « Cinder Rose » (rose clair), Farrow & Ball. Robinetterie, Hansgrohe. Serviettes de table, Society Limonta. Rideau, Élitis. Torchons, Harmony. Plateau et pichet, Maison Sarah Lavoine.

A.M. Home DécorationLa pièce à vivre manquait de charme. Mes clients avaient du mal à se l'approprier. La couleur dominante de beige et de marron n'apportait pas de chaleur.
De nouvelles couleurs amènent l'effet de cocooning souhaité ainsi qu'un papier peint de Rebell Walls pour le décor.
Les appliques Design'heure sont posées ainsi qu'un nouveau point lumineux pour accueillir la suspension Petite Friture dans le salon. En harmonie, l'entrée et la cuisine sont repeintes.
En complément du mobilier actuel, une bibliothèque et un meuble TV ont été créés sur mesure.
Pour garder une transparence sur le panoramique du jardin et apporter une intimité chaleureuse, le choix des rideaux s'est posé sur des stores bateaux en voilage.
Des coussins et autres textiles finissent la décoration de cette pièce.

SMOOK Architecture & Urban Design, Inc.The Stonebridge Club is a fitness and meeting facility for the residences at The Pinehills. The 7,000 SF building sits on a sloped site. The two-story building appears if it were a one-story structure from the entrance.
The lower level meeting room features accordion doors that span the width of the room and open up to a New England picturesque landscape.
The main "Great Room" is centrally located in the facility. The cathedral ceiling showcase reclaimed wood trusses and custom brackets. The fireplace is a focal element when entering.
The main structure is clad with horizontal “drop" siding, typically found on turn-of-the-century barns. The rear portion of the building is clad with white-washed board-and-batten siding. Finally, the facade is punctuated with thin double hung windows and sits on a stone foundation.
This project received the 2007 Builder’s Choice Award Grand Prize from Builder magazine.
Mussman Design AssociatesAFTER. The Mrs. bought a big screen t.v. for for her husband for Xmas. Having no where to put the t.v., he built a make shift table and put a blanket on it. Problem solved, right? Not so much. They contacted Stan and Andrea Mussman with Mussman Design to design and install new family room cabinetry, fireplace, paint, crown, drapery, paint and accessories. Whereas before the family had no space for the children's toys, now there is ample space to tuck the toys away. Deborah Bettcher - Decorating Den InteriorsThis living room design is best appreciated when compared to the frumpy "before" view of the room. The lovely bones of this cute bungalow cried out for a "refresh". This tall couple needed a sofa that would be supportive . I recommended a clean lined style with legs to open up the rather small space.The minimalist design of the contemporary swivel chair is perfect for the center of the room. A media cabinet with contrasting white and driftwood finishes offers storage but doesn't appear too bulky. The marble cocktail table and faux bois end tables add a nature inspired sense of elegance.

PhThis family-friendly gathering space started with the concept of creating a stone wall with built-in bookcases and exploring a grey and green palette. The realization is a layout that functions well for entertaining and for family movie night.

Shoreline Architecture & DesignCute 3,000 sq. ft collage on picturesque Walloon lake in Northern Michigan. Designed with the narrow lot in mind the spaces are nicely proportioned to have a comfortable feel. Windows capture the spectacular view with western exposure.
J. Stephens InteriorsA large family room that was completely redesigned into a cozy space using a variety or millwork options, colors and textures. To create a sense of warmth to an existing family room we added a wall of paneling executed in a green strie and a new waxed pine mantel. We also added a central chandelier in brass which helps to bring the scale of the room down . The mirror over the fireplace has a gilt finish combined with a brown and crystal edge. The more modern wing chairs are covered in a brown crocodile embossed leather
