A 3 bedroomed bungalow in Mickleover, Derbyshire had previously been brought to market as an empty ex-rental property.
After sitting on the market for a few months it became apparent that potential buyers were struggling to see how the space could work for them, especially as the three bedrooms seemed very small.
Our clients, a local property developer, required a very quick turnaround and we achieved a 10 day turnaround from initial consultation to installation day. This included design schemes, sourcing and delivery.
Staging made the property come to life and showcased to buyers that indeed at least 2 bedrooms could accommodate double beds and furniture. This also made the smallest bedroom the ideal place to stage as a work from home space, something that post the pandemic is still at the top end of the most wanted list for lots of potential buyers.
We were delighted that after months of no offers, our clients received multiple offers within 2 weeks and accepted an offer within 6 weeks.
