“I highly recommend Greater Portland Renovations. Originally, they did a rot repair job for us. Moisture got in under or front door and caused rot. They arrived to do the work on the scheduled day at the time promised. Even though the rot spread a bit further than expected, the cost remained within the estimated range. I was so impressed with the integrity of the company and kindness of the workers, that I also decided to hire them to install new hardwood floors in our home. As they were doing the job, they came across more rot under the back door, which we had no idea about. They took everything in stride. They repaired the issue right away, and charged us a reasonable amount to repair it. Our old floors were both glued and nailed down with a nail about every half inch of flooring. This was by means no easy job. They still managed to finish the job quickly, as they knew we were trying to sell our home. The floors were installed perfectly, and look amazing. I would recommend Greater Portland Renovations to ANYONE!!!”

“Bob Vail is a master Craftsman and his crew is just as exacting and demanding as he is. Our project involved pushing out our kitchen foundation 6ft and rearranging the rooms on the first floor to meet an expanded and updated kitchen. Walls were torn down and new walls were put in place, new windows and doors and a new outside deck also were part of a project that included an entire renovation of a tired old kitchen. Bob consulted and worked with us alongside an architect, kitchen expert and electrician in order to help us select exactly what we wanted, at times he would advocate for us when we met with some unprofessional incidents. Most importantly, Bob was able to flex with some changing demands during the project while still maintaining the integrity of the original plan. “Jay Martinoli and his crew re built 3/4 of my home 3 years ago. They showed up every day and didn't leave me waiting .His crew was respectful and fun to work with. He helped us plan an new layout for our home. He turned a house that was from the 1970"s and falling apart into a beautiful modern home. We had a 3 season porch that was totally falling apart he tore it down and built us a family room with cathedral ceiling and made it the same level as the rest of the house so it became part of our first floor greatly increasing our living space . He gutted out our old outdated small kitchen and gave us a beautiful huge kitchen any chef would love to work in now both me and my husband can cook at the same time. He tore the wall down between my dining room and the kitchen and made a open floor plan. He took advantage of every bit of space we had to open the home up and give us more living space. He also gave us 2 new bathrooms and the tile work is beautiful. While one crew was working on the inside he had another crew siding the house and putting a new roof and installing new windows. We are extremely happy with our new home . And the cost was reasonable I used to go to my friends houses and wish my home was like theirs NOW my home is even better than theirs. Thank You Jay”
