is the countertop carrera marble? I really want carrera marble but everyone says its not practical...any suggestions on an alternative ? or maintenance to help keep it look a beautiful as it does in the photos?

This is Dura Supreme Cabinetry shown in the “Highland” Inset cabinet door style with the optional solid/slab drawer front on the kitchen island in our “Zinc” painted finish. The same is used on the perimeter cabinets, but they are shown in the “Classic White” painted finish to contrast the island.

This door is shown with the flat panel drawer option and beaded frame. This project uses this door style but with the solid/slab drawer option and a non-beaded frame. You also have the option to have a hinge reveal with a decorative barrel hing with our inset cabinetry construction to give a different look.
