Sommi Wine CellarsOur latest custom wine room project is proof that you don’t need a country estate (or even a full-size room) to store your wine in style. Our clients in this small, but swanky condo in Portland’s Pearl District had just a tiny corner of space to work with. Tucked in between the fireplace and floor-to-ceiling terrace doors, we transformed this formerly awkward and unused storage space into a showstopper of a home wine and cocktail bar.
J & F Specialties, Inc.The client wanted to add a wet bar area to their family room so when they entertain there is a nice gathering point. We changed out the existing window to allow for the cabinetry, did extensive plumbing and electrical work to accommodate the new plan and installed new luxury vinyl plank flooring. New shaker style cabinetry in a dark chestnut stain. New granite countertops and backsplash tile were installed. The entire room was painted to complete the update.

Denise Quade Design36" SubZero Pro Refrigerator anchors one end of the back wall of this basement bar. The other side is a hidden pantry cabinet. The wall cabinets were brought down the countertop and include glass doors and glass shelves. Glass shelves span the width between the cabients and sit in front of a back lit glass panel that adds to the ambiance of the bar. Undercounter wine refrigerators were incorporated on the back wall as well.
