Hello, F&B Black Blue is gorgeous for the staircase and I personnally would'paint the whole wall (including above the chimney) in a nice F&b yellow'colour, such as Yellow ground or Dayroom Yellow. I'm sure this combination of colours'will just be stunning. However I would recommend that you test the colours before choosing one (on reasonnably big surface,i.e. 1sq. meter) because once applied on a surface the colour might look very different than what we expected. F&B sells samples for 8€ and I really think this is worth it. I' telling'you this because I experimented it in my house. I was convinced one colour was THE one and still tested another one aswell by precaution and, once applied on the wall, the second one was an evidence. Good luck and pls keep us up to date. Looking forward to see the picture.

Microwave next to the table would solve the bad looks and the height issue. Normally upper cabinets can be about 48cm above countertop, but since it looks better to have them on the same height as the built-in hood, you'll need 60cm. But if you're 1.60m you could consider a free hanging hood and some upper cabinets next to it, otherwise all uppers would be too high for you and you'd only use the lower shelf. And even better: Buy an oven with microwave function! (already posted that I think) Oven with microwave is different than microwave with grill. I even have a 12 year old tiny Panasonic combi that makes perfect bread and pizza!

Bonjour! Merci!

Hello Ashley, Thanks for the plan and the additional photo. So, I'm convinced that you need to treat this space with one principal use: appreciating the view. A secondary function can be watching TV, but there seem to be so many other spaces on this level, that if you can, put the TV in a more intimate space. (family room?) I chose à Roche Bobois couch set to fill your space. /a-propos-composition-a/ It's amazing, has enough angles and curves to fill out the space without overwhelming it. Of course, you need some coffee tables and some very large plants in beautiful pots. This Divani couch is less astonishing, but unbelievably comfortable. Divani extrasoft I'm not quite sure where the steps are, nor their depths. good luck, Lynn
