Help for modernization of our kitchen .

We are removing the black granite and replacing with Cambria Britannica and a honeycomb gray glass backsplash. I originally wanted the cabinets to be white, but now I think I want them either a cement gray color, or a darker gray color to match the graining in the quartz. White walls. I want it to look modern, fresh and light. Should I stick with my original plan of white cabinets, white walls and gray backsplash? I could paint the uppers white and the lowers gray? Paint the lowers cement color and the island darker. Any suggestions? My husband thinks I am WAY over thinking this. I am making myself nuts thinking about this.

Commentaires (43)Bonjour Béné, Très sympa et très lumineux, même si je n'imaginais pas l'alliance parquet carrelage de cette manière... Je pensais que vous vouliez mettre le carrelage uniquement côté cuisine et le parquet côté table et séjour... mais votre choix a un sens compte tenu de l'architecture du lieu. :) Les couleurs des tabourets et du "canapé-télé" ajoute de la gaieté à l'ensemble. Je trouve que le coin salle-à-manger manque un peu de contraste par rapport au reste. Sûrement le coloris neutre de la table et du buffet assez massif ajouté au gris de la cuisine et du carrelage... j'aurais bien vu une table plus "aérienne" et peut-être noire? Mais c'est un détail, et "des goûts et des couleurs..."etc...etc! A quoi sert d'avoir garder ce qui devait être, je pense(?), les caisson des volets des anciennes baies vitrées entre la salle à manger et le coin salon? Commentaires (5)Bonjour! Is your ceiling unique to the kitchen or continues for another room? You can use the ceiling to add color If just the kitchen. A medium intensity color would warm up the space without making somber. You can also choose a wall as an accent, keeping the rest very pale. Tones of yellow would be nice. See the Benjamin color trends for 2016. A lot of whites accentuated with colors. One room has yellow, but you don't have to go so intense. Also see on houzz "clored" ceilings. You can also use our window frames to add contrast painting them a darker shade of gray or charcoal. It gives character, definition and class Sorry i dont have photos to demontrate at the moment (problem with iphone:( but you can always find on houzz) :) Hope this helps!... Commentaires (152)MAGNIFIQUE ET CHIC , par contre n’oubliez pas de travailler les éclairages pour que ce ne soit pas austère ! On est POUR chez CINQTROIS et vous pouvez jouer aussi sur les différentes textures et nuances des noirs. Ici sol béton ciré noir mat / tables noires brillantes / Chaises noires mates / Plafond anthracite texturé / Appliques métalliques noires... Voir plus
