Вспомогательные помещения: кухня, прихожая, гараж, котельная, хозяйственная комната. Дом выполнен в современном стиле с минимальным количеством деталей. Ориентация жилых помещений на южную сторону.
kbh architects, ltd.New Modern Lake House: Located on beautiful Glen Lake, this home was designed especially for its environment with large windows maximizing the view toward the lake. The lower awning windows allow lake breezes in, while clerestory windows and skylights bring light in from the south. A back porch and screened porch with a grill and commercial hood provide multiple opportunities to enjoy the setting. Michigan stone forms a band around the base with blue stone paving on each porch. Every room echoes the lake setting with shades of blue and green and contemporary wood veneer cabinetry.

Adam Gibson DesignWhen we designed this home in 2011, we ensured that the geothermal loop would avoid a future pool. Eleven years later, the dream is complete. Many of the cabana’s elements match the house. Adding a full outdoor kitchen complete with a 1/2 bath, sauna, outdoor shower, and water fountain with bottle filler, and lots of room for entertaining makes it the favorite family hangout. When viewed from the main house, one looks through the cabana into the virgin forest beyond.

ALTS DESIGN OFFICE (アルツ デザイン オフィス)非日常を味わう暮らし
今回の計画は、滋賀県長浜市の分譲地の一画にある角地の敷地、周囲はほぼ同時期に建てられた住宅街で本敷地は分譲地の入り口付近にある。クライアントの要望は、開放的で明るく非日常を感じることのできる暮らしであった。
そこで、外観は分譲地の入り口付近の角地ということと、要望にもあった非日常を感じる暮らしということもあり、白とグレーを基調とし、開口部を大胆にとった印象的な外観とした。
建物を印象づけることにより日常から非日常へ自然と意識させるデザインとなっている。
周囲からは、程よくプライバシーを確保できるよう中庭空間をもうけた。
内部の計画は、南面に大きく開けたリビングスペースを設け奥に入ればプライバシー空間となっており外に向かって開放的で明るい空間が広がっている。天井高もオープンスペースに行くほど高くなるよう設計し、より広がりを感じることができる。
オープンスペースとプライベートスペースを空間として分けることにより、日常では味わうことのできないゆったりとした空間となっている。
内部空間のしつらえは、グレーのモノトーンで配色を抑え、タイルやセラミック素材を使い
落ち着きのある空間とした。
日々の生活に追われた日常の生活と、旅行などで感じることのできる非日常のリラックス
した空間、現状、なかなか外出することもできない時代のなかで、住居部分に非日常を感じゆったりと過ごすことのできる空間を設けることで、より豊かに暮らすことのできる住宅となった。
Propel Studio ArchitectureTucked into a hillside in the west hills outside Portland, Oregon, this house blends interior and exterior living.
With a beautiful, hilltop site, our design approach was to take advantage of the natural surroundings and views over the landscape, while keeping the architecture from dominating the site. We semi-submerged the main floor of the house while carving outdoor living areas into the hillside. This protected courtyard extends out from the interior living spaces to provide year-round access to the outdoors.
Large windows and sliding glass doors reinforce the connection to nature, while a large, open, great room contains the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The home is a single story design with two wings. One wing contains the master bedroom with en-suite bath & laundry. Another wing includes 2 additional bed/bathrooms, with one bed/bath pair able to function as a private guest suite.
The exterior materials include Shou Sugi Ban rainscreen siding, floor to ceiling windows, and a standing seam metal roof. The interior design includes polished concrete floors, a fireplace flanked by accent walls of natural wood, natural wood veneer casework, tile and plaster bathrooms. The landscape design includes a variety of water features, native plantings and permeable pavings in the courtyard. The retaining walls of the courtyard are a combination of concrete and stone gabion walls.

OTO DesignModern design and time-honored techniques meld seamlessly in the Makai House, a 3000-square-foot custom home designed to strategically fit on an existing footprint, located a stone’s throw from the Fauntleroy ferry dock in West Seattle. A courtyard in the rear of the house, a covered patio, and the front beach are all physically and visually connected, creating dynamic indoor-outdoor living, constantly changing with the seasons and the times of the day.
