Saikley ArchitectsThis was a detailed exterior and interior restoration of an 1894 Victorian originally designed by influential architect and developer Joseph Leonard. Saikley Architects and Buestad Construction worked closely with the clients to uncover evidence of original exterior and interior details that had been removed and recreate them. Minor changes were made to the second story layout to add a bathroom for a master suite while staying true to the original feeling of the house.

Every room was painted in a different colour to evoke a sense of space and its use. Furniture was sourced from Pop and Scott, West Elm and Click on Furniture. The client wanted to maintain the period features, such as floorboards, skirting and enhancing that with Vintage green paint.

Oak Mountain Custom Woodworkthis client owns a Victorian Home in Essex county NJ and asked me to design a fireplace surround that was appropriate for the space and hid the television. The mirror you see in the photo is actually a 2-way mirror and if you look closely at the center section of the mantle, the remote speaker for the TV is built in. The fretwork pattern adds a lovely detail and the super columns (column on top of column) fit perfectly in the design scheme.
